Joe has been racing professionally for over 25 years and has been competing at the top levels of American sports car racing since 1998. He scored 3 Poles, 2 wins and the overall Grand-Am Koni Challenge Championship in 2008. He was the Chief Driving Instructor of the Panoz Racing School for 10 years and continues to teach at the Miller Performance Training Center at Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering from Georgia Tech, Joe resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he can be found over-seeing the preparation of the Dempsey Racing Mazda racing cars at the team shop facility. The daily routine for Joe in between races includes many laps of a hilly 6-mile loop around the Dempsey Racing shop on his Specialized Roubaix SL2 or forays into the Georgia woods on his Specialized Stumpjumper FSR.
