The current French road racing champion, Sylvain is a born attacker, even though he has a quiet disposition. He’s had some memorable climbs in the Alps and the Pyrenees in the Tour de France, as well as the incredible break that took him to second place in the 2011 Ronde Van Vlaanderen. A true family man, Sylvain loves the outdoors and country life, and he supports the “en avant la vie” association for people with brain tumours. In 2012 he wants to star in the classics and at the Tour and rediscover his fondness for time trials, which in the past have made him a three-time national champion in this specialty.
