1st XC, 1st ST, 1st overall.

wow, had a great weekend of racing and pretty pumped with the start of the season. I spent about 10 days at my buddies Roger's place just north of Santa Rosa and it prtty much rained the entire time. Had a great visit with my girlfriend as she came down for the weekend off between Bonelli and Fontana and we had a grea time. In a way is was good as i kept the volume down and intensity up.

I knew going into Fontana I was feeling quite a lot fresher then Bonelli and the new course in Fontana was more demanding then Bonelli. I wanted to win Fontana after being 2nd and 3rd in past years so that's exaclty what i did. It's amazing how when your "on" that winning seems easy. It felt amazing winning the short track as well and big thanks to Tara, the canadian team soignour for making the legs fresh again after the XC. The S-Works Epic was simply amazing and it us mind boggling to me that so many guys are still riding hardtails out there.

Big ups to Jordi, Myron, Zane, Patrick and the entire crew at Specialized, by far the most amazing team ive been on and it makes getting the job done that much easier.

So so happy to be back home for a few weekends off and now focus on Sea otter as that's another one I want to cross off the list.
